PawScheduler SMS Scheduling
An automated SMS appointment scheduling assistant for independent and mobile dog groomers.
Clients text a dedicated number to book, view, or cancel grooming appointments.
Who Sends These Messages
Messages are sent by PawScheduler on behalf of independent dog groomers who use our
platform. The sending number is operated by PawScheduler.
How Clients Opt In
Clients are enrolled in SMS messaging when their groomer adds their phone number to the
PawScheduler system and enables SMS for their account. Opt-in is:
- Specific to text message communications only
- Separate from any email or phone call consent
- Recorded in the PawScheduler database with a timestamp
- Obtained by the groomer directly from the client before enabling SMS
Opt-in data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing or any purpose
unrelated to appointment scheduling.
Types of Messages Sent
All messages are transactional and appointment-related. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
- Appointment booking confirmations
- Appointment reminders sent the day before a scheduled appointment
- Replies to client-initiated scheduling conversations (booking, viewing, or cancelling appointments)
- Cancellation confirmations
Sample Messages
"Hi Sarah! 🐾 I can see you have Bella on file. Would you like to book an appointment?
Reply STOP to opt out."
"Bella is booked for Tuesday March 25th at 10:00–11:00 AM. See you then! 🐾
Msg&Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."
"Hi Sarah! Just a reminder — Bella has a Full Groom tomorrow at 10:00 AM.
Reply STOP to opt out."
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on appointment activity. A typical client receives
2–4 messages per appointment cycle (confirmation, reminder, and any scheduling
conversation replies). Message and data rates may apply.
Keyword Responses
STOP
Unsubscribes you immediately. You will receive one confirmation:
"You have been unsubscribed from PawScheduler SMS. No further messages will be sent.
Reply START to resubscribe."
START
Re-subscribes you after opting out. You will receive:
"You have been re-subscribed to PawScheduler SMS scheduling. Msg&Data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out anytime."
HELP
Returns help information: "PawScheduler SMS Scheduling — text us to book, view,
or cancel your grooming appointment. Msg&Data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out. Help: pawscheduler@gmail.com"
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a single
confirmation and no further messages will be sent. To re-enroll, reply START.
You may also contact us at pawscheduler@gmail.com
to request removal.
Privacy
Your phone number and SMS opt-in status are used solely to deliver the scheduling service
described above. We do not sell, share, or use this information for advertising or any
