How to share your grooming booking link (with copy-and-paste messages)
You've got an online booking link. Now your clients need to know about it, and so do the people in the towns you serve. Here's exactly how to send it out, with ready-to-use messages for texts, email, Facebook groups, Instagram and Google.
1. Find your link
Your booking link is the web address clients tap to pick a day and time. It looks something like app.pawscheduler.app/book/yourname.
Before you share it, open it yourself once on your phone. Make sure your hours, services and prices look right, because this is the first thing new clients will see.
2. Tell your current clients
Start with the people who already love you. They're the most likely to use it, and the most likely to pass it on.
📱 By text (fastest)
Most of your clients are already in your phone. Send this as one group text, or paste it to each person. Sending it one by one feels more personal and avoids a group-chat reply storm.
Hi! Quick update from [Business name] 🐾 You can now book your pup's grooming online anytime. Just pick a day and time that works for you: [your link] You can still text me like always!
📧 By email
If you have client emails, put your own address in the "To" box and all your clients in BCC, so nobody sees anyone else's email.
Subject: You can now book online with [Business name] 🐾 Hi there, Good news: you can now book your dog's grooming online, any time of day. Pick the day and time that works for you here: [your link] You'll get a reminder before your appointment, and you can still call or text me like always. Thank you for trusting me with your pup! [Your name] [Business name]
✂️ In person, at pickup
The easiest moment to share it is when the dog looks amazing and the owner is happy. Say: "Next time you can book online anytime, I'll text you the link." Then send it before they're out of the driveway.
3. Reach new clients in your towns
🏘️ Local Facebook town groups
Almost every town has a community Facebook group ("[Town] Community", "[Town] Moms", "Buy Sell Trade [Town]"). These are the best free way to reach new pet owners near you.
- Read each group's rules first. Many allow business posts only on certain days, or only in a weekly thread.
- Post a photo of a dog you groomed (with the owner's OK). Posts with a cute before-and-after photo tend to get much more attention than text alone.
- Reply to every comment. That keeps your post near the top.
- Watch for "anyone recommend a groomer?" posts and reply with your link.
🐶 Local groomer now booking in [Town] & [Town]! Hi neighbors! I'm [Your name], owner of [Business name]. I [come to your driveway / groom at my home salon] and give every pup one-on-one attention, with no cages and no long waits. You can see my open times and book online here: [your link] Happy to answer any questions in the comments! 🐾
🏡 Nextdoor
Nextdoor is built for "who do you recommend nearby?" questions. Create a free business page, then post this in your neighborhood:
Hi neighbors! I'm a local dog groomer serving [Town], [Town] and [Town]. If your pup is due for a groom, you can see my openings and book online in under a minute: [your link] Recommendations from neighbors mean the world to a small business. Thank you! 🐾
📍 Your Google Business profile
When someone searches "dog groomer near me," your Google profile is what they see. In your Google Business Profile, look for the appointment link or booking option and paste your link there. Then a "Book" button shows right on your Google listing.
Also ask happy clients for a Google review. More reviews help you show up higher when people nearby search.
📸 Instagram & your Facebook page
- Instagram: put the link in your bio, and post a story with a link sticker. Save it to a "Book" highlight so it never disappears.
- Facebook page: add it as your page's "Book now" button, and pin a post with the link to the top of your page.
✨ Online booking is open! ✨ Tap the link in my bio to see my openings and book your pup's next groom in under a minute. Serving [Town] & [Town] 🐾
4. Get your regulars to share it
Word of mouth is one of the best ways groomers get new clients, and a link makes it easy to pass along. Just ask:
Thank you for being such a great client! 💛 If you know anyone whose pup needs a groom, I'd love it if you passed along my booking link: [your link] I'm a small business, so every recommendation really helps!
Want to give them a reason? Offer something small, like free nail trims or $5 off their next groom, for every new client they send your way.
5. Put it everywhere you already are
- QR code: turn your link into a QR code (free QR code makers are easy to find online) and put it on your business cards, a sticker on your van, or a sign by your door.
- Your voicemail: "...or book online anytime at the link on my Facebook page."
- Your email signature and your text auto-reply for when you're mid-groom.
- Local vets, pet stores and dog trainers: ask if you can leave a few cards with the QR code.
Your one-week plan
- Day 1: Copy your link, check your booking page, and add it to your Instagram bio, Facebook page and Google profile.
- Day 2: Text or email all your current clients.
- Day 3: Post in one or two local town groups (following their rules).
- Day 4: Post on Nextdoor and share an Instagram story with a link sticker.
- Day 5–7: Ask every client at pickup to share it, and reply to every comment and message.
